Here you will learn which web analytics and tracking tools we use on our website (web tracking, advertisements, cookies, plugins, etc.), how they work and details on how you can block the processing of your personal data as well as how you can delete personal data already collected. You can find more information in our privacy policy.

Use of cookies

Cookies are partly used in our websites. This standard technology stores small text files on your device, making it possible to create an easier or more secure visit to a website. Cookies also serve to better tailor offerings to the visitor’s interests or as a basis for generally improving statistical analyses.

You can decide if you want to allow or block browser cookies. Please be aware that, when cookies are blocked, some of the website functionality may be limited or even disabled.

Deleting cookies

You can delete individual cookies or all cookies in your browser settings. In addition, you will find information and instructions as to how to pre-emptively block or delete cookies. The required information can be found in the following links, depending on the browser:

In addition, you can by default block the loading of so-called scripts. NoScript allows the launching of JavaScript, Java and other plugins only in the domains of your choice. Information and instructions on how you can enable this function can be found on the websites of browser providers (e.g. for Mozilla Firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/addon/noscript/).

Consent management with Cookiebot

We use the Cookiebot tool to manage your consent. Cookiebot itself sets a technically required cookie, for which the use is based on our legitimate interest indicated in the consent documentation.  The way to delete cookies was explained in detail in the “Deleting cookies” section above.

Detailed information on cookies and the text that is presented when you first go onto a website are found below. In addition, information is provided on whether you have granted consent to cookies and to which ones. The decision you have made is always transparent and understandable.

You can always change or revoke your consent or refusal using the links below.

Information on our use of cookies

The following sections provide information to you about these cookies if they also impact personal data.

Policy on the use of analysis and tracking tools

Use of Matomo

This website uses Matomo (formerly Piwik), an open source software for the statistical analysis of visitor access. InnoCraft Ltd., located at 150 Willis St, 6011 Wellington in New Zealand, is the provider of the Matomo software.

Matomo uses cookies that you enable in order to analyse the use of the website. The information produced through the cookie about your use of the internet services is stored on a server in Germany. We have configured Matomo such that there is no profiling.

The IP address will be made anonymous immediately after processing and before storing by removing the last 2 bytes. You have the option to block the installation of the cookies by changing your browser settings. We would like to advise you, however, that changing your settings in this way may limit the functionality of the website.

More information about privacy settings in the Matomo software can be found in the following link: https://matomo.org/docs/privacy/.

Processors are the likely recipients of any data.

The data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer required for our collection purposes. In our case, this will happen automatically after 6 months.

There are three ways you can refuse consent to data processing through Matomo:
The first is that you can completely prevent the storage of cookies in your browser. This may disable some functions of our website that require identification. Second, you can enable the “do not track” setting in your browser. We have configured Matomo to respect this setting. Finally, with a mouse click you can select the so-called opt-out cookie, which is valid for two years. The consequence here is that Matomo will not register your next visits. Please note that the opt-out cookie will be deleted when you delete all cookies.
